Editor's note

Andre fryer

Dear loyal readers, of which we must have at least five, it is with a profound sadness in my heart that I must inform you that this will be the final edition of the JMP chronicle.

Although it is unmistakable that today a giant of print media reaches a ceremonious conclusion, it is not without leaving a legacy. A legacy of fine journalistic ability, a genuine want to share that ability with the reading world, and a work ethic that was immaculate at least two thirds of the time.

I would like to formally thank all the publication’s staff for contributing week in and week out.

The writing staff for consistently coming up with great ideas, and formulating them in a way that made for relevant stories, as well as maintaining a high standard of writing.

The sub editors for putting up with both myself and the writing staff, being the first line of quality control, and working tirelessly to make sure the publication only published work that was well polished.

(And finally) The technical team, whose know how and ability ensured that the JMP Chronicle was a well-constructed, aesthetically appealing, and well organised website from the first week.

It has been my pleasure.

Enjoy the final edition.
